To help you plan your visit to Djurg\u00e5rden, we\u2019ve put together lots of ideas for fun half-term activities for the whole family.<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.junibacken.se\/en\/upplevelse\/ture-sventon-en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Junibacken<\/a> is already a firm favourite amongst children (so much so that it was actually voted the best museum for children by Stockholmers in a recent survey). The attraction brings stories to life \u2013 including Astrid Lindgren\u2019s Pippi Longstocking \u2013 and right now children can also become detectives themselves and explore the world of private detective Ture Sventon!<\/p>\n<p>Children can also pretend to be Vikings at <a href=\"https:\/\/thevikingmuseum.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Viking Museum<\/a>, immerse themselves in the world of pirates at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sjohistoriska.se\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Maritime Museum<\/a> or see what it\u2019s like to be a forensic science technician at the <a href=\"https:\/\/polismuseet.se\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Police Museum<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This week at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.varldskulturmuseerna.se\/en\/etnografiskamuseet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Museum of Ethnography<\/a> it\u2019s a Carnival theme! Children can make carnival hats, masks, jewellery and decorations using colourful materials. The family trail at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vasamuseet.se\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vasa Museum<\/a> is something for the whole family, and at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tekniskamuseet.se\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tekniska Museet<\/a> you can participate in VR games, film workshops, experiment shows and much more.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s also the chance to try out winter sports and go to an ice-skating disco \u2013 amongst other activities \u2013 at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skansen.se\/en\/sportlov-at-skansen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Skansen<\/a>.
