UNDER THE SURFACE AT MUSEUM OF WRECKS<\/a><\/h2>\n

Learn about Baltic Sea’s hidden cultural treasures. Dive into the exhibitions and become a marine archaeologist for a while and hear diving marine archaeologists tell about how to work with wrecks under the surface and on land! Explore diving equipment and hear thrilling stories.<\/p>\n

The museum’s other exhibitions will be open as usual. Here you can, among other things, visit the exhibition about the ship Resande Man, which sank in year 1660 outside Landsort in the Stockholm archipelago.<\/p>\n

Free admission for children up to 18 years.<\/p>\n

THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY<\/a><\/h2>\n

Experience spectacular shows, experiments and lots of games at the National museum of science and technology sports holiday. See the new exhibition Zero City from 5 March and the Gycklargruppen TRiX flaming fire show.<\/p>\n

VASAMUSEET<\/a><\/h2>\n

Take a deep dive in the 17th century and get to know Sweden’s history through the ship Vasa! At the Vasa Museum, there is a sports holiday program between 26 February and 6 March. Join a family guided tour, watch films about Vasa, walk tricky tracks through the museum and discover more about Vasa and her time.<\/p>\n

VISIT THE ANIMALS AT SKANSEN<\/a><\/h2>\n

Grill hot dogs, visit houses and farms, greet animals and lots of other fun things! If the weather is a bit rough, just go in and warm up among the monkeys and spiders in the Skansen Aquarium.

TRAVEL BACK IN TIME AT NORDISKA MUS\u00c9ET<\/a><\/h2>\n

The Nordic Museum has a packed Sports Holiday program. Visit the Time Vault, where you can travel back in time and learn what it was like to be a child in another time.<\/p>\n

In the popular Lekstugan you can experience life on a farm in year 1890. There are several tricky missions for children and adults to solve together out in the museum: gather knowledge from Arctic inhabitants in the exhibition Arctic – while the ice melts, solve the mystery of the missing marzipan figure or follow clues and chase letters in the fashion exhibition British so into the Nordics.<\/p>\n

During the family show in Dukade bord, you get to follow roasted swans, candied violets and learn what to eat when there was a party in the 16th century. Maybe it will be a tasting for the brave one!<\/p>\n

JUNIBACKEN<\/a><\/h2>\n

At Junibacken you can play with all your senses during the holidays. The theater is played here every day of week 9, where the performances “Pippi moves in” and the story of the worst ghost in Sm\u00e5land, “Skinn Skerping” are shown.<\/p>\n

On February 27, Junibacken is open in the evening with a dinner for the whole family, plus lots of playful activities.<\/p>\n

SCANDINAVIAN ICE ADVENTURES<\/a><\/h2>\n

Do not miss the chance to go on an ice skating adventure before winter ends!<\/p>\n

At Scandinavian Ice Adventure, just outside Sj\u00f6historiska, there is a mix of different ice surfaces and adventures, where the traditional meets the innovative. Together, it forms a place where memorable moments can come to life. A place for everyone, regardless of whether you have never skated before or if you are a pro skater.<\/p>\n

THE VIKING MUSEUM<\/a><\/h2>\n

This year, the viking museum has a packed sports holiday program with a lot of games and sports.<\/p>\n

Every day at 11:30 and 13:30, guided family tours are offered for all children where they tell about the games the Vikings played. The tour is about 30 minutes and is included in the entrance fee. On Sunday 27\/2 and Sunday 6\/3 between 12:00 – 16:00, you can also try out games with the museum’s Vikings outside.<\/p>\n
