But there is still some time left to discover them before they close. Below you will find tips on summer exhibitions that you can&#8217;t miss!<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thielskagalleriet.se\/en\/utstallningar\/current-exhibitions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Still Nature. Oskar Bergman<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nDetailed, atmospheric landscape paintings of mainly Swedish nature and Swedish cities in bright colors and shimmering light are characteristic of Oskar Bergman. The exhibition is on display at <strong>Thiel Gallery<\/strong> until August 20.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/waldemarsudde.se\/en\/exhibitions\/women-pioneers-visionary-landscapes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Women Pioneers \u2013 Visionary Landscapes<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nThis summer&#8217;s major exhibition at <strong>Prins Eugen&#8217;s Waldemarsudde<\/strong> presents artworks of four women pioneers and visionaries of landscape painting, whose works from around the turn of the century 1900 are featured.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The art historical writing of the past regarding landscape painting from this period has mainly focused on works by male artists. In this exhibition the perception of Swedish landscape art from around 1900 has been broadened and deepened, at the same time as a number of distinguished, but seldom exhibited, women artists have emerged from the shadows and are here seen in their own right. The exhibition shows personal stories from within the Ukrainian wine industry and describes the everyday life of winemakers with setbacks and challenges, since the war broke out. The exhibition is shown along the water outside of <strong>Spritmuseum<\/strong> until August 24.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/liljevalchs.se\/en\/kalender\/karin-broos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Karin Broos, Black sun<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nKarin Broos is one of Sweden&#8217;s most prominent painters. Her artwork includes few but meaningful motifs, including standing and sitting figures at a bathing jetty. Naps in beds and sofas. Women and children in front of the bathroom mirror.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Black Sun is a symbol of her greatness and is characterized as the most comprehensive exhibition to date and includes works never before shown to the public. The historical posters from 1890-1960 mirror the new phenomenon of the early 20th century \u2013 leisure time \u2013 and the dream of traveling. The result is an exhibition about artists who have been, and still are, icons for several generations. The exhibition is on display until September 3 at <strong>Liljevalchs+.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/liljevalchs.se\/en\/kalender\/barbro-ostlihn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Barbro \u00d6stlihn. New York Imprint<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nThe exhibition is the first since 1983 to show \u00d6stlihn&#8217;s paintings in a large-scale exhibition. The intensity of the city life, the art life and in the studios there became decisive for the design of her unique painting throughout her career as an artist. Which resulted in her being considered today as one of the most interesting artists in post-war painting. Today every third Swede spends a big amount of their summers on a holiday boat but in the beginning 1900s, only a rare few were able to afford their own boat.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition is in the collaboration with the Swedish Cruising Association, which is now celebrating 100 years. The association and the boat cultures growth go hand in hand. They are celebrating this by allowing a younger generation of art educators working at Spritmuseum to pick out their favourites from the Absolut Art Collection. The result is REDISCOVER, an exhibition which fills the room floor to ceiling\u00a0with almost 90 artworks. The exhibition is on display until September 24.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.riksidrottsmuseum.se\/riksidrottsmuseum\/konsthall-16\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The arena \u2013 Tore A Jonasson&#8217;s collection<\/a><br \/>\n<\/strong>The arena is the place for public events, sporting as well as cultural and political. In the fourth exhibition with Tore A Jonasson&#8217;s collection, some artists portray the scene itself, the arena, while others refer to more metaphorical scenes for existential, personal and poetic stories.
