TWO MUSEUMS – ONE TICKET!

Visit two of Stockholm’s most popular attractions: The Vasa Museum and the sister museum Vrak – Museum of Wrecks, with a new 2-in-1 combo ticket. Dive into the history hidden in the sea and meet the ship that was salvaged!

From June to August, Vrak and The Vasa museum offers a combination ticket for SEK 290. The ticket is valid for 72 hours and provides admission to both museums. Children up to 18 years old have free entry as usual.

The museums are located almost next door, a minute’s walk from each other on Djurgården in Stockholm. At Vrak you will meet the hidden cultural heritage of the Baltic Sea: the wrecks and remains that remain beneath the surface. Here you can try diving in VR or experience the dramatic story of the ship Resande Man’s sinking. At the Vasa Museum, you’ll meet the world’s best-preserved 17th-century ship: Gustav II Adolfs’ warship Vasa, which sank on its maiden voyage.

Buy online or at the museum.

Blodomloppet comes to Djurgården

Time for this year’s Blodomloppet

Hello all visitors, residents, riding clubs, boat clubs, restaurants and museums on Royal Djurgården.

On Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 June, it is time again for this year’s Blodomloppet, which will be held on Djurgården. But what is the point of the race? Well, the purpose of the race is to raise awareness and to demonstrate the need for blood donation and to promote a healthy lifestyle. The proceeds of the race will go back to the youth activities of the organizing associations and to promoting the importance of blood donation.

This is a purpose that we at Royal Djurgården support one hundred percent.

About the race

The start and finish of Blodomloppet is in the meadows around the Djurgårdsbrunn inn. The first start is at 16:30 but already hours before, participants will arrive at the event area. The event is expected to end around 21:00. Participants will run or walk 5 km (red) or 10 km (yellow) according to the route below.

Road closures

During these two days there will be some limited traffic, so we recommend that you take extra care in planning your trip.

We will restrict access on the Manilla Road from the junction of Kaknäsvägen/Manilla Road between 4pm and 9pm. There will be a driving ban for participants.

Hunduddsvägen will also have a parking ban and restricted access for participants between 6pm and 7.30pm.

Blockhusringen limited access between 16.00 and 19.30

Bus line 69 will turn at Kaknästornet between 16.00-21.00 on these days (i.e. will not continue towards Blockhusudden).

We hope that events will not be too disruptive. But if it does remember that it is for a very good purpose.

Warm greetings

From IFK Lidingö Athletics Club and IFK Lidingö Ski & Orienteering Club, organisers of the Stockholm Blood Race.
