Contemporary Art and Design in a Beautiful Setting

Liljevalchs is one of the most beautiful exhibition spaces in Stockholm. They hold at least three major art and design exhibitions each year. The exhibition program covers a wide range of art and design and includes something for everyone – from general to specialised interests.

Every spring Liljevalchs hosts the Spring Salon, a well-known and popular jury-judged exhibition.

Part of the Stockholm Municipality, Liljevalchs was inaugurated in 1916 as the first independent public gallery for contemporary art in Sweden. Liljevalchs+ is the newest building and opened in summer 2021.
