The Tavern is part of Skansen’s Town quarters; the view from the house gives you a lovely glance over the old houses from one side and the iconic horizon of Stockholm on the other.

In the Tavern’s loft can you find out more about the house, from photographs, letters and paintings of previous owners. Enjoy our drop-in à la carte menu or book the loft for a lunch, dinner or buffet. If you’d like to stay a little longer, you can take part in an activity at Skansen or a drink tasting with Krogen Stora Gungan’s sommelier.
