It is easy to get here – both in the summer and in the winter. Choose the method that suits you best. The easiest is to walk or cycle here, or take the ferry, bus or tram.

TRAM

Tram number 7. From the Central station (T-Centralen) to Djurgården with the final stop at Waldemarsudde, with several stops on Djurgården, including Nordiska museet/Vasamuseet/Junibacken and Liljevalchs/Gröna Lund.

Heritage trams – number 7N. From Norrmalmstorg to Skansen, with several stops on Djurgården, including Nordiska museet/Vasamuseet/Junibacken and Liljevalchs/Gröna Lund. The café tram continues all the way out to Waldemarsudde and Bellmansro.

BUSES

Bus 67. From Odenplan to Blockhusudden with stops at Nordiska museet/Vasamuseet/Junibacken and Liljevalchs/Gröna Lund, among others. Connection with the metro at Karlaplan.

Bus 69. From Centralen to Kaknästornet, with stops at Djurgårdsbron, Museiparken and Kaknästornet, among others.

Bus 76. From Norra Hammarbyhamnen to Ropsten. The bus stops at Djurgårdsbron, and from there it is a short walk across the bridge to southern Djurgården.

Other buses

Sightseeing bus, Hop-on Hop-off. The Red and green buses have several stops in Stockholm City and on Djurgården.

BOATS AND FERRIES

Djurgården ferries. These run all year round from Slussen to Allmänna gränd on southern Djurgården.

Sjövägen 80. From Nybroplan to Allmänna gränd and southern Djurgården.

M/S Emelie. From Nybroplan, Mastamnen (close to the Vikingline ferry terminal) and Hammarby Sjöstad (Sustainable City) to Allmänna Gränd on southern Djurgården.

WALKING OR CYCLING

It’s easy to walk or cycle to Djurgården. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from Nybroplan, and about 5 minutes to cycle.

BY CAR

Parking. A few parking places are available on southern Djurgården and in Museiparken. Djurgårdsbron is closed to traffic during weekends and days on which events take place. More information is available here

Harbour facilities are available at Wasahamnen guest harbour. Depth: 2-6m. Mooring: booms, buoys, and long-side mooring. More information is available here
