Christmas Holiday tips at Djurgården!
23/12/2021Christmas is here, and finally the Christmas holidays begin at the Royal Djurgården. There are lots of fun activities for both young and adults.
Below we have collected some tips on all the fun that happens at Djurgården during the Christmas holidays.
Keep in mind that at Djurgården, we follow the government’s and the Public Health Agency’s new directives and recommendations that apply from 23 December.
We keep distance and are responsible.
Go to each museum / attraction’s website to keep up to date on their Christmas activities, as there may be some changes due to the current situation.
The Viking Museum
During the Christmas holidays, there is a lot of exciting, interesting and atmospheric stuff to take part in at The Viking Museum! Warm your hands on a burning fire outside, learn how “Christmas” was celebrated at the Viking Age or help the Goblin to keep track of Christmas!

Welcome to a Junibacken in full Christmas attire! Play in the exhibitions, ride the Fairytale train and experience theater throughout the Christmas holidays.

Spend the Christmas holidays on a pair of skates and glide through the lovelane or the skateway track, play pond hockey or go skicross for the daring ones!
On Christmas Eve between 10.00-14.00, they offer a cozy morning with mulled wine, gingerbread and maybe one or two Christmas tunes.
On Christmas Day, there will be a Skate-disco!
