While we renovate and make room for an exciting new historical exhibition, the Police Museum will be closed to individual visitors from 18 August to 27 March. You are welcome to visit the new exhibition Police Life when we reopen on 28 March 2026. School classes and groups can still book tours; visit our website for more information.

Current exhibitions:

The exhibition A Greater Task – The Changing Everyday Life of the Police focuses on today’s Swedish police. Here you will find real objects and true stories about life as a police officer today. End your visit by stepping into the virtual police uniform.

The exhibition Crime Scene focuses on a crime scene. Put yourself in the role of a forensic scientist, approach the crime scene and consider what you see.

Don’t miss our acclaimed exhibition on hate crimes – Us & Them. Here, visitors have the opportunity to think, feel and reflect.

From May to September, children can learn about traffic rules in a playful way. As a museum visitor, you can rent pedal cars and venture out into traffic. Keep an eye on the road signs and follow the traffic rules. Are you unsure what the road signs mean? Then the Police Museum’s traffic playground is the right place to practise your skills.
