Spring salon at Liljevalchs

One of the strongest signs of spring is of course the Spring Salon at Liljevalchs and it opens its doors on February 14th!

The Spring Salon kicks off the art spring and has been a pillar of Stockholm’s art world for 100 years. This year it is filled with 282 works of art from 177 different artists. The jury has carefully selected pieces from around four thousand applications and created a varied and exciting collection of paintings, photographs, sculptures, installations and a wide range of other interesting artworks.

Last year, we saw that increasingly younger artists are applying to the Spring Salon and this year Liljevalchs will also showcase the next generation of artists. Those accepted are from 18 years old to 79 years old and come from all corners of Sweden.

The Spring Salon opens on February 14th and runs until April 27th. Read more here.
